Backhanded

As if you cannot tell....I love sports! I love to take action shots and spring training is the best time for me to get the shots I love to get since I don't have the money to get the equipment like my buddy on the preceeding day.

Apart from the great catch, it's that lady with the HUGE lens that grabbed my eye - of course we are Green with Envy - but if it's any consolation, a few of the members of my local Flickr group with all the big DSLRs and lenses complain that by the time they get the gear out of the bag and set it up, the moment has passed, whether it's a shot of an approaching storm cloud, or a person doing something exciting! Me - well, I whip it out, snap, move on - blink and you'd miss me.... and therein lies a little thrill!

Hi Dawn - thanks for dropping by my pblog although I haven't been actively visiting yours nor anyone else here in AM3 lately...been occupied
I can see that you are really into sports now and wow you have a 300mm lens! Is that a prime or a zoom - i'm tempted to get a zoom that's up to 300mm too and with a 1.5x crop on my Nikon DSLR that'll give me up tll 450mm! So I can understand your envy over that lens in the shot you posted yesterday! Sigh...and there's the D300...but that is way too far beyond my means now...it'll have to wait for a very very very long time...maybe forever...but by then the D400 will probably be out... hahaha
