Sweep & mop the floors....

@Rags: Tile everywhere except for the bedrooms. It's not that bad though, takes about 30 minutes to mop it all.

@Rebecca: Ha ha, yes all moms can relate to the "floor" issue. I don't think there is a perfect solution. Carpet is warm and inviting but is a bear to keep clean with kids. Tile is easy to keep clean but doesn't hide as much as carpet so I end up mopping every other day and it is very noisy because it makes everything echo. Maybe wood flooring would be the happy medium, I have never had wood floors so you will have to let me know how that works out if you get it!

@Viewfinder: Makes it easy for a quick clean up. Less allergens and dirt in the air as well. Here in the desert it is amazing how much dirt is in your carpet!

@Jen: It is nice to have tile but it is very noisy. With three young kids there is no such thing as quiet in my home. Hubby says I will miss it when they are gone, I don't know I love quiet time. We shall see....
