Never ending piles of laundry

Another shot in my series dedicated to us domestic goddesses. Today the shot is my laundry room, I have a family of 5 and I can never stay on top of the laundry. Between towels, sheets, blankets, socks, underwear, etc AUGH!!! Help!!

P.S. It has been brought to my attention that some of my male AM3 buddies do their share in the home. To those of you I stand up straight and salute you. Thank you to those men who DO help their ladies out and ease the burden. Every little bit helps!!! :)

@{H} creatives: I am a neat freak so my house always seems dirty/messy to me. My husband (love him) tells me to relax that it looks fine. I am learning to let some stuff go a bit and relax more but habits are hard to break!

Very familiar and well-done in sepia. Me and Mrs. VF are both working professionals, but my schedule is such that I take off Fridays. That means I get to do laundry duty on that non-traditional day. But our family of five is now just me and she; our little ones aren't little anymore and they get to do their own laundry and have since middle school.

@Viewfinder: Hats off to you my friend, I am sure your wife appreciates it! My oldest is 11 and she does hers for the most part but it is still my biggest chore.

I have said for years that I certainly hope there is no laundry in heaven...then it will really be heaven! LOL!!!

A most original idea, wonderful shot and especially meaningful in sepia! :) LOL . Many thanks for this, Dawn! Ours is a family of 3, but our "little miss messy" toddler certainly churns up enough laundry for 2 or more....she has a wonderful instinct for "leaving her mark" on freshly changed sheets, and more besides! :)

@Rebecca: I wish I could tell you she will make less messes as she gets older but that just isn't the case. Cherish the little messes! :)

Top loaders. Can't beat them. Whoever designed front loaders was someone who never considered the wear and tear on your back when doing laundry.

@tyan: I try to be organized, my biggest pet peeve s clutter. My husband freaks because I will go through everyone's things and if we haven't worn/used something in a year, they go to the homeless shelter. He always tells me, "I was gonna wear that someday" even though it is from high school and he cannot fit into it anymore. ha ha :)
