AT HOME

I have a family of lizards that have decided to join our family in calling our place home. They love our home and they do not bother us but they come out at night and hang out to soak up some night light! This one was just walking along the exterior of our home. There is about 6 of them, we like them. Only in the desert could you see lizards hanging out around your house!!! ha ha

I have European wall lizards at my home and like them too. They are just tiny, green and very very fast. I have only ever seen one at a time. So I call him Waldo... where's Waldo. I see mine in the day time out sunning. I think I have fewer slugs in my garden since Waldo has moved in.

@maggie: How crazy, I have never seen a green lizard or a slug. I am missing out on some wonderful photo opportunities I'm sure!!

@Kairospix: We live in the desert, there are just homes and people in the mix. Arizona is hard to explain to people who have never been here. I do not know if this is the mama or papa since the larger ones are the same size. I have not named them since they all look alike and I would hate to disrespect one by calling it anothers name :) I just call them all "baby" can't go wrong with that!! ha ha

lolz, camouflage! say, photography has trained us to have an alert mind and sharp eye aye? im very tempted to touch the little fella lol, so have u named them yet? and pretty big eyes for a small fella i must say =)

@simon: They do have big eyes! Their favorite place to hang out is a hole we have made for them behind out porch light, it gives them easy access to the flying bugs that are attracted to the light. When we come home there is always two to four of them just hanging out almost like they are there to greet us at the door. We love 'em!!
