@Helen: Thank you very much! Of course for composition many will say that they would have liked all of the wings to be in the shot. I would have liked that too but I was just glad to get some of the shots I did considering I am not a professional. :)
great shot. You must've had a nice time watching them in action.

@Sujit: I absolutely did, we drive out to the air force base often and sit at the end of the runway and watch the boys do their runs. The kids love the sight and sound of them. Of course this was the first time they were this close to the action so we were all very excited!! Thanks for the comments.
Great shot! You right though, it would've been nice to see all wings ;) I 've never been to an air show, although every city I've lived in have had them...I need to go one day.

@Bahar: Thanks a bunch!!
Sweet shot Dawn!! Excellent framing of VERY fast planes!!

@Jen: They are very fast, it is very hard to frame your shots when they are zipping by you at ridiculous speeds!!
I am not sure if one should double post, but, I wanted to add that I believe that the tight framing of the planes has assisted in the dynamic nature of this photo. If it was accidental, I would say that it was fortunate.
@Helen: I don't mind the double post at all. I appreciate your thoughts. I sort of like it as it is but you know there will be people who will want all of the wings for it to be "technically" correct. Sometimes (in my opinion) pictures can break rules and still be beautiful.
Wow ! Great framing and the image is so sharp ! That must have been hard to capture with such detail.

@Fred: It was hard but definitely worth every second!
Really wonderful framing! It's tight and clean and crisp. Excellent!
