DEDICATION

Over the next few days I will be sharing some pictures I took at the 17th Annual World Championship Hoop Dance Contest in Phoenix, AZ. Native Americans from around the country compete, it's quite a show! They perform with up to 30 hoops, they have to perform certain tricks where they have to wear the hoops in certain positions so that they mimic animals. I saw shapes of dragons, butterflies, snakes and more. It is a great show. They competed in various age groups. The kids are very cool because they are so young but the adults were amazing because they had all the experience.
